I am a folk artist whose paintings celebrate life's simple pleasures. It could be a mermaid taking a relaxing bath or a quant New England village scene.

I like to think my paintings are nostalgic and that the viewer feels a warm glow of memories from the past.

I started my career as a decorative artist painting mermaids and nautical themes on wooden bowls and candle boxes. I still paint wooden items especially my popular personalized wedding bowls.

Most of my time is spent painting on canvas or gesso board.

I live in Marstons Mills, a quiet village in Cape Cod with my husband, John (aka Augie) and our exuberant greyhound, Bella.
